(including 2.69 g/t gold and 195.3 g/t silver over 1 metre)
3.04 g/t gold and 185.9 g/t silver over 15 metres
(including 9.01 g/t gold and 544.3 g/t silver over 4.5 metres)
1.28 g/t gold and 69.2 g/t silver over 15.5 metres
(including 3.84 g/t gold and 202.2 g/t silver over 3 metres)

Minefinders has built an additional three kilometres of road and 15 additional drill pads at La Virginia this year. Two core rigs are currently working on the project and the company plans to add a third before the end of the year. The company has drilled nearly 11,000 metres of its planned 12,750-metre program for 2011. Total drilling now exceeds 17,000 metres in 55 completed core holes.

Minefinders reports Mexico Gold Assays up to 12.44 g/t over 42m

Minefinders Corporation Ltd TSX:MFL announced results from its Dolores Mine and Virginia Project in Mexico. Assays include 12.44 g/t gold and 75.3 g/t silver over 42 metres (including 40.2 g/t gold and 163.9 g/t silver over 12 metres), 8.46 g/t gold and 86.5 g/t silver over 6 metres (including 24.24 g/t gold over 2 metres), 13.75 g/t gold and 612.1 g/t silver over 4 metres, 8.23 g/t gold and 30 g/t silver over 2 metres, 4.9 g/t gold and 21 g/t silver over 4 metres and 52.75 g/t gold over 16 metres.

President/CEO Mark Bailey stated, “We are very pleased with the results of the 2010 drill program at the Dolores Mine and at La Virginia. Drilling at Dolores continues to confirm potential to increase the size of the open pit, particularly to the south, and also significant underground mineralization. Step-out drilling at our recent La Virginia discovery continues to intersect high-grade gold and silver and we will work toward establishing an initial resource at La Virginia.”
