Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningKimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced results from its Monterde Gold-Silver Property in northern Mexico. Highlights include

6.2 g/t gold and 47.6 g/t silver over 4.2 metres
(including 11.7 g/t gold and 56.2 g/t silver over 2.1 metres)
6.6 g/t gold and 91.5 g/t silver over 2 metres
4.2 g/t gold and 66.2 g/t silver over 3.6 metres
1.9 g/t gold and 194.4 g/t silver over 5.1 metres
3.7 g/t gold and 48.7 g/t silver over 2 metres

President/CEO Gordon Cummings stated, “We are pleased that drilling continues to intercept high-grade gold-silver mineralization in the structures at both Carmen and Veta Minitas, including 6.2 g/t gold plus 47 g/t silver over 4.2 metres. These high-grade gold-silver intersections continue to support the concept of high-grade mineralization outside the proposed open pit and confirm excellent potential to discover additional high-grade structures to the northeast of the Carmen Deposit, an area with only limited drill information.”

January 26th, 2012

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningKimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced drill results from its Monterde project in Mexico. Highlights include

18.3 g/t gold and 374.3 g/t silver over 7 metres
(including 32.5 g/t gold and 873 g/t silver over 1.5 metres)

Kimber reports Mexico Assays of 5.3 g/t Gold, 278.6 g/t Silver over 16.7m

November 29th, 2011

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningKimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced drill results from its Monterde project in Mexico. Highlights include

5.3 g/t gold and 278.6 g/t silver over 16.7 metres
(including 8.2 g/t gold and 556.1 g/t silver over 4.5 metres)
12.1 g/t gold and 15.9 g/t silver over 5.7 metres
(including 42 g/t gold and 50.5 g/t silver over 1 metre)
1.4 g/t gold and 98.7 g/t silver over 23 metres
(including 7.5 g/t gold and 312.3 g/t silver over 2.4 metres)
11.2 g/t gold and 17.8 g/t silver over 2.3 metres

President/CEO Gordon Cummings stated, “The intercept of 16.7 metres grading 5.3 g/t gold and 278.6 g/t silver in hole MTC-140 is one of a number of excellent intercepts in holes MTC-140 and MTC 144 where the Cob and Carmen structures were intersected successfully by core drilling. These holes contribute additional evidence of strong gold-silver mineralization in the Carmen and Cob structures at deeper levels than drilled prior to 2011 and further advance our target of expanding the much higher-grade portions of the Carmen deposit at depth.”

Kimber reports Mexico Assays of 104.3 g/t Silver, 3.5 g/t Gold over 6m

October 28th, 2011

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningKimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced drill results from the Carmen deposit of the Monterde project in Mexico. Highlights include

6 g/t gold and 31.3 g/t silver over 0.5 metres
3.5 g/t gold and 104.3 g/t silver over 6 metres
(including 6 g/t gold and 166 g/t silver over 2 metres)
26.6 g/t gold and 12.1 g/t silver over 4.5 metres
2.9 g/t gold and 90.6 g/t silver over 2 metres
6.1 g/t gold and 127 g/t silver over 1.5 metres
2.7 g/t gold over 2.5 metres
7.4 g/t gold over 1.7 metres
2.9 g/t gold over 1.6 metres

President/CEO Gordon Cummings remarked, “The intercept of 4.5 metres grading 26.6 g/t gold and 12.1 g/t silver in hole MTRD-513 provides yet another excellent high grade gold-silver intersection in the Carmen structure, at a considerably deeper level than existing mineral resources, bolstering the potential for the definition of a deeper, high-grade mineral resource under the currently defined Carmen deposit. In addition, the Carmen, Cob and Hilos structures were intercepted at depth at the south end of the Carmen deposit in several holes, indicating potential for additional high grade gold-silver mineralization along strike to the south at deeper levels than previously drilled.”

Kimber reports Mexico Assays of 2.2 g/t Gold, 98 g/t Silver over 10m

April 19th, 2011

Kimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced assays from its Monterde Project in Mexico. Results include 85.3 g/t silver over 6 metres, 0.45 g/t gold and 107.3 g/t silver over 6 metres (including 1.2 g/t gold and 150 g/t silver over 2 metres), and 2.18 g/t gold and 98 g/t silver over 10 metres (including 7.98 g/t gold and 233 g/t silver over 2 metres).

President Gordon Cummings said, “”We are making good progress on our drill program at Monterde. The most southerly of the three holes drilled at the new La Verde target intercepted 6 metres of 85 g/t silver approximately 60 metres below surface. Further holes are being planned at La Verde, which is seen as a prospective silver target with the possibility of gold deeper in the system. Infill drill results at Carmen are in line with expectations and core drilling is now underway to target deeper portions of the main Carmen structure to test for high grade gold-silver mineralization that could be mined underground.”

Kimber reports Mexico assays as high as 118.4 g/t Silver over 34m

March 3rd, 2011

Kimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced assay results from the Carmen Deposit at its Monterde Project in Mexico. Highlights include 0.54 g/t gold and 118.4 g/t silver over 34 metres (including 1.61 g/t gold and 224.3 g/t silver over 8 metres), 266.8 g/t silver over 10 metres (including 409.3 g/t silver over 6 metres), 0.78 g/t gold and 99.4 g/t silver over 40 metres (including 2.01 g/t gold and 240 g/t silver over 2 metres), 0.44 g/t gold and 89.7 g/t silver over 56 metres, and 1.36 g/t gold and 127.5 g/t silver over 4 metres.

These ten drill holes were completed as part of our work program to upgrade and expand mineral resources in the upper portions of the Carmen deposit. Each of the holes was successful with good widths and good grades.”

Kimber reports Mexico Assays including 0.6 g/t Gold, 61.8 g/t Silver over 36m

February 7th, 2011

Kimber Resources Inc TSX:KBR announced results from the Carmen Deposit of its Monterde Project in Mexico. Assays include 0.6 g/t gold and 61.8 g/t silver over 36 metres (including 5.94 g/t gold and 159 g/t silver over 2 metres), 72 g/t silver over 28 metres, 50 g/t silver over 12 metres, 0.95 g/t gold and 200 g/t silver over 12 metres (including 4.54 g/t gold and 534 g/t silver over 2 metres), and 128 g/t silver over 6 metres.

President/CEO Gordon Cummings said, “We are pleased that the gold-silver assay results from the first four reverse circulation drill holes, drilled in the uppermost portions of the Carmen structure, confirmed the continuity of the mineralization between trenches and drill holes. These first four holes drill holes are part of our work program to upgrade and expand mineral resources at the top part of the main Carmen structure. Each of the holes successfully intersected the main Carmen structure over good widths with grades in the range of material previously determined to be amenable to open pit mining.”
