Gunpoint reports Nevada Results up to 1.24 g/t Gold, 8.59 g/t Silver over 106.1m

December 15th, 2011

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningGunpoint Exploration Ltd TSXV:GUN announced assays from its Talapoosa Gold-Silver Project in Nevada. Results include

1.24 g/t gold and 8.59 g/t silver over 106.1 metres
1.15 g/t gold and 19.11 g/t silver over 60.4 metres
1.38 g/t gold and 15.27 g/t silver over 64.6 metres
1.1 g/t gold over 34.1 metres
1.11 g/t gold and 16.67 g/t silver over 29.9 metres

President/CEO E. Max Baker commented, “The results reported from the first fence of four holes, which test the upper 250 metres of the vein zone, intersected 50- to 100-metre-wide intervals of vein mineralization with average grades greater than 1 g/t gold and 8 g/t silver. Thus far drill results are supporting the modeled reinterpretation and potential for a higher grade. Provided that continuity of the vein zones can be demonstrated between sections, it is likely to have a very significant influence on future resource estimates.”
