Dia Bras reports Peru Assays including 98.1 g/t Silver over 18m

May 3rd, 2012

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningDia Bras Exploration Inc TSXV:DIB announced assays from its Yauricocha Mine in Peru. Results include

1.92 g/t gold, 98.1 g/t silver and 4.88% copper over 18 metres
(including 3.82 g/t gold, 218.1 g/t silver and 12.36% copper over 4 metres)
60.3 g/t silver, 1.65% lead and 10.04% zinc over 20.1 metres
18 g/t silver and 6.1% zinc over 11 metres
95 g/t silver and 1.49% copper over 8 metres
20.65 g/t gold over 3 metres

President/CEO Daniel Tellechea said, “These results demonstrate that we continue to expand the resources of the Yauricocha mine and continue to prove the prolific nature of this highly mineralized mining district. We know now that the Catas and Cuye orebodies extend more than 350 metres to depth, and our drilling continues to discover previously-unknown deposits that also are expected to extend for hundreds of metres down dip. This mature, productive mine has many, many years of production before it and its precious-metal potential is being reinforced with recent discoveries of high-grade gold at its Purisima area, which is only 500 metres away from current mine working areas.”
