9.69% lead, 1.58% zinc and 14.04 g/t silver over 14.7 metres
(including 10.36% lead, 1.71% zinc and 14.59 g/t silver over 12.9 metres)
4.31% lead, 0.77% zinc and 9.58 g/t silver over 12.8 metres
(including 5.18% lead, 0.94% zinc and 11.94 g/t silver over 4.7 metres)
16.82% lead, 0.31% zinc and 0.02 g/t silver over 22 metres

Canada Zinc also owns the Kechika group of regional properties that extends 140 kilometres northwest of the Akie Project, centred along the prospective stratigraphy of the Gunsteel Formation. The 2011 exploration program included a regional program mainly focused on two southern claim groupings, the Pie and Mt. Alcock properties. Diamond drilling on the Akie Property began in May and lasted approximately four months. Work included HQ diamond drilling on several targets including the SE Extension, Cardiac Creek Zone, NW Extension and GPS-bedded barite showing. The program consisted of 12 holes totaling 5,668 metres that were drilled to their planned depths.

3.98% Zinc and 6.84 g/t Silver over 12.7 metres
(including 7.4% zinc and 10.13 g/t silver over 3.1 metres)
4.8% zinc and 7.7 g/t silver over 26.1 metres
(including 8.59% zinc and 12.43 g/t silver over 5.3 metres)

The Akie project is located approximately 260 kilometres north-northwest of the town of Mackenzie and has NI 43-101 inferred resources of 23.6 million tonnes grading 7.6% zinc, 1.5% lead and 13 g/t silver.
