Castillian reports Nfld Gold Assays as high as 2.78 g/t over 19.8m

April 5th, 2011

Castillian Resources Corp TSXV:CT announced results from the Pit Zone of its Hope Brook Gold Project in Newfoundland. Assays include 2.78 g/t gold over 19.8 metres (including 4.17 g/t over 6.2 metres), 1.91 g/t over 20 metres (including 3.88 g/t over 4 metres), 1.6 g/t over 21.8 metres (including 3.8 g/t over 2.4 metres), and 1.79 g/t over 11 metres.

President/CEO Bill Pearson stated, “The continued positive results from the Pit Zone are very encouraging. We are now in the process of completing a second and third tier of holes approximately 50 metres and 100 metres respectively below the first series to further confirm the down dip and along strike continuity. Induced polarization surveys over the area indicate that the silicified zone likely extends to a depth of at least 100 metres. We are using a drill hole pattern that is designed to optimize potential resource definition as well as evaluate further extensions of the target zone.”

Castillian reports Newfoundland Gold Assays as high as 3.12 g/t over 9m

March 23rd, 2011

Castillian Resources Corp TSXV:CT announced results from its Hope Brook Gold Project in southwest Newfoundland. Assays include 2.24 g/t gold over 17 metres (including 9.26 g/t over 2 metres), 2.37 g/t over 13.7 metres (including 4.56 g/t over 8.9 metres), 2.39 g/t over 19.3 metres (including 6.63 g/t over 3.7 metres) and 1.65 g/t over 16.5 metres.

President/CEO Bill Pearson said, “We continue to be very pleased with the positive drilling results on the Hanging Wall and Mine Zones. The Hanging Wall Zone now extends at least 300 metres vertically and is open downdip and along strike to the southwest. Hole HB 11-012 further confirmed the downdip continuity of the Mine Zone below the 4,800-metre level, the lowest level previously mined. We are using a drill hole pattern that is designed to optimize potential resource definition as well as evaluate further extensions of both target zones.”

Castillian reports Nfld Gold Assays including 1.07 g/t over 48.9m

January 21st, 2011

Castillian Resources Corp CT:CA announced results from its Hope Brook Gold Project in Newfoundland. Assays include 1.08 g/t gold 69.1 metres (including 3.17 g/t over 9.9 metres), 1.07 g/t over 48.9 metres (including 3.56 g/t over 5.9 metres).

President/CEO Bill Pearson said, “These results confirm the excellent potential of our major target areas both near surface and for extensions of the zone previously mined from underground. The Hope Brook Mine closed during a period of very low gold prices, well before the deposit was completely mined out. We believe we are in a fortunate situation where we can extend the known mineralization from the unmined parts of the Hope Brook deposit and build toward a NI 43-101 resource estimate later this year. Significantly, many of the deeper historic drill holes appear to have been too short to fully test the target zone. In view of these results, Castillian will be expanding the drill program by an additional 10,000 metres and will be adding a second mobile drill to delineate the near surface target zone which to date extends more than 500 metres southwest of the past producing open pit. The drill, currently on site, will focus on expanding the Hope Brook Deposit Mine Zone southwest and below the mine workings, as well as further testing the new hanging wall zone.”
