AM Gold reports Yukon Red Mountain Property Gold Resource

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningAM Gold Inc TSXV:AMG announced an updated NI 43-101 resource estimate for the Jethro structure of its Red Mountain property in Yukon. The project now has inferred resources of 127 million tonnes grading 0.48 g/t gold for 1.95 million contained ounces.

VP Exploration Neil Downey stated, “We are very pleased with the significant increase in the inferred resource estimate at Red Mountain as it represents a considerable step forward for the project. The project remains open in all directions and at depth. The inferred resource has been estimated to a depth below surface of 300 metres, but we have drilled to a vertical depth of 527 metres ending in strong mineralization indicating substantial expansion potential.”

AM Gold reports Yukon Gold Assays up to 0.38 g/t over 419.4m

0.38 g/t gold over 419.4 metres (including 0.58 g/t over 150.5 metres)
0.37 g/t over 342.9 metres (including 0.6 g/t over 55 metres)
0.25 g/t over 350.5 metres (including 0.51 g/t over 22 metres)
0.33 g/t over 121.5 metres (including 0.94 g/t over 10 metres)

The Red Mountain gold property has a 2010 NI 43-101 inferred mineral resource estimate of 1.32 million ounces gold at a 0.2 g/t cut-off.

AM Gold reports Yukon Assays up to 0.39 g/t Gold over 340.5m

Assays include 0.39 g/t gold over 340.5 metres (including 0.66 g/t over 86.5 metres), 0.44 g/t over 258 metres, 0.24 g/t over 290.4 metres (including 0.56 g/t over 28 metres), 0.41 g/t over 97 metres (including 0.67 g/t over 21 metres) and 0.47 g/t over 80.9 metres (including 0.59 g/t over 37.7 metres).

The property consists of 3,600 hectares of contiguous quartz claims. AM Gold holds an 80% interest in 52 of the claims, which are subject to an NSR. The company has an option to increase its interest to 100%. The other 131 claims are held 100% by the company.
