January 16th, 2012

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningArian Silver Corp TSXV:AGQ announced results from its San José Property in Zacatecas State, Mexico. Highlights include

336 g/t silver over 9.1 metres
259 g/t over 8.1 metres
436 g/t over 4.7 metres
170 g/t over 16.1 metres
72 g/t over 21.6 metres
229 g/t over 10.7 metres
221 g/t over 6 metres
98 g/t over 9.7 metres

President/CEO Jim Williams commented, “These most recent drill results show continuity of vein thickness, silver mineralization and grade as we drill along the San José vein. Now that the geophysical survey has been completed and indicates where the SJV has been displaced, we can now drill these new target areas as part of this current phase of drilling before completing the Phase 4 program. Once this current phase of drilling has finished we shall be working on an updated independent resource estimate and we continue to believe the San José Project has considerable potential upside to offer.”

170 g/t silver over 16.1 metres
229 g/t over 10.7 metres
436 g/t over 4.7 metres
512 g/t over 3.3 metres
221 g/t over 6 metres
98 g/t over 9.7 metres
59 g/t over 10 metres

President/CEO Jim Williams commented, “Once again these most recent drill results show continuity of vein thickness, silver mineralization and grade from both the infill and step-out drilling as we drill along the SJV. Drilling continues at a good pace using two Longyear 44 rigs and we are currently anticipating completion during this reporting quarter. We have so far drilled two holes on the Bety Vein to test its extension in a westerly direction and the assay results will be reported in due course. The Bety Vein is located south of, and is more or less parallel with, the SJV where grades of up to 500 g/t silver were recorded from surface sampling.”

Arian reports Mexico Silver Assays up to 201.7 g/t over 4m

Arian Silver Corporation TSXV:AGQ announced assays from its San Jose Property in Zacatecas State, Mexico. Results include 262.2 g/t silver over 1.1 metres, 167 g/t over 1.7 metres, 97.5 g/t over 1.2 metres (including 406.1 g/t over 0.7 metres), 201.5 g/t over 1.2 metres, 201.7 g/t over 4 metres, 107.2 g/t over 3.4 metres, 355.6 g/t over 1 metre (including 940 g/t over 0.5 metres) and 213.4 g/t over 2.1 metres.

CEO Jim Williams commented, “Once again everyone is highly encouraged by the latest results from our current phase of drilling along the San Jose Vein. We continue to confirm the presence of significant silver mineralisation in a westerly direction along the strike of the SJV with the latest batch of drill core results. We have now completed 32 holes, which represents approximately 76% of the current programme moving further west following the extensive strike of the SJV. Once this current drill programme is complete, drilling will continue under a new programme. We are now working to update our resources. An updated NI 43-101 estimate will be undertaken upon conclusion of this 10,000m drill programme. In addition to drill data from this programme, much of the previously completed Phase 2 drill programme will also be incorporated.”
