Inca One Resources Corp. (TSX-V: IO) is a Canadian resource company focused on acquiring and advancing properties in the South American country of Peru.
Peru, which was home to the Inca Empire, is currently the largest gold producer in South America, hosting mines, which produced up to 26 million ounces of gold. A highly mineral-rich country, Peru is the largest producer of silver and second largest producer of copper worldwide as of 2009.
Inca One is advancing its principal asset, the Las Huaquillas Property in northern Peru. The project consists of nine mineral concessions totaling 3,700 hectares in size.
Mr. Kelly is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of management experience in sales, marketing and business development. The majority of Ed's experience comes in the form of working with private and public companies where he has served as an officer and director of ClickHouse.com and Dajin Resources. Mr. Kelly has been involved in the public markets since 1989 as an investor, as well as assisting in raising capital for both private and public company ventures. Mr. Kelly is a turn around specialist who has rescued several private ventures in real estate and food.
Mrs. Vargas joined Inca One in June of 2011 having 17 years of experience working for international exploration mining companies. She has worked with Anglo Gold Ashanti, The Grosso Group, Pasminco Exploration, and most recently with Norsemont Mining Inc. At these companies, she has held senior positions in which she was responsible for developing and managing company policies and procedures, budget development analysis and cost control. Mrs. Vargas holds a degree in Business Administration with a Master’s Degree in International Business Management.
Ms. Rivera is currently CFO of Remstar Resources Ltd., Milk Capital Corp., Ultra Lithium Inc. and a director and CFO of Lornex Capital Inc.. She was controller of Remstar Resources Ltd. From January 2008 to June 2010 and controller of Norsemont Mining Inc. from July 2006 to December 2007. She was employed with Varshney Capital Corp. from 1994 to 2006 with a last position of Manager of Finance and Administration. Ms. Rivera has been a director and/or officer of several public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange over the past twelve years.
Mr. Harris, a Vancouver lawyer, has been appointed as the secretary of the company. Mr. Harris is a corporate, securities and business lawyer with over 20 years of experience in British Columbia and internationally. He has extensive experience with the acquisition and disposition of assets, corporate structuring and restructuring, regulatory requirements and corporate filings, and corporate governance. Clients have included public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange, and United States exchanges such as Nasdaq.
