Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningAlmaden Minerals Ltd TSX:AMM announced step-out drill results from its Tuligtic Project in Puebla State, Mexico. Highlights include

1.1 grams per tonne gold and 33.2 g/t silver over 99.8 metres
(including 9.26 g/t gold and 96.4 g/t silver over 2.5 metres)
0.21 g/t gold and 70.3 g/t silver over 12.5 metres
(including 0.3 g/t gold and 101.4 g/t silver over 8 metres)
0.64 g/t gold and 16.5 g/t silver over 76 metres
(including 2.16 g/t gold and 31.5 g/t silver over 10 metres)
0.17 g/t gold and 31 g/t silver over 22 metres
(including 0.47 g/t gold and 83.1 g/t silver over 2 metres)
0.42 g/t gold and 17.4 g/t silver over 4.5 metres
0.54 g/t gold and 9 g/t silver over 54.5 metres
(including 1.01 g/t gold and 10.8 g/t silver over 23.8 metres)

These results show depths to 394 metres. Holes to date suggest that the Main Ixtaca and Ixtaca North zones are sub-vertical with local variations. This interpretation suggests that true widths range from approximately 35% of intersected widths for a -70 degree hole to 94% of intersected widths for a -20 degree hole.

Chairman J.D. Poliquin stated, “The Northeast Extension or Chemelaco Zone is newly defined and is oriented at right angles to the main Ixtaca trend. These step-out results confirm the potential of this zone to add significantly to the overall Ixtaca resource.”
