Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver miningGold Standard Ventures Corp TSXV:GV reported results from its East Camp Douglas and Railroad projects in Nevada. Highlights include

1 gram per tonne gold over 9.1 metres
2.31 g/t gold over 17.4 metres
(including 9.4 g/t gold over 1.2 metres)
0.5 g/t gold over 41.1 metres
319.5 g/t silver over 9.1 metres
(including 876 g/t silver over 1.5 metres)
(including 775 g/t silver over 1.4 metres)

VP Exploration Dave Mathewson commented, “These are encouraging results from the first of several targets to be tested within this geologically diverse, district-scale, prospective gold opportunity. The silver is not accompanied by elevated base metals and appears to be associated with the gold-related epithermal emplacement of metals. These silver results, in addition to the gold assay results, demonstrate the presence of an unusually strong and diverse precious metal system in the North Bullion target zone.”
