Oroco reports Mexico Gold Assays up to 11.26 g/t over 4m

Resource Clips - essential news on junior gold mining and junior silver mining Oroco Resource Corp TSXV:OCO announced drilling results from its Cerro Prieto gold project in Mexico. Assays include

11.26 g/t gold over 4 metres
2.31 g/t over 16.94 metres (including 5.36 g/t over 4.19 metres)
4.17 g/t over 8.05 metres (including 3.35 g/t over 8.08 metres)
4.59 g/t over 7.21 (including 8.85 g/t over 3.39 metres)
3.85 g/t over 7.11 metres (including 5.32 g/t over 4.62 metres)
2.1 g/t over 5.24 metres
2.17 g/t over 5.54 metres

Oroco has completed 14,500 metres of diamond drilling over two phases at Cerro Prieto. Previous resource estimates for the project are 390,000 ounces gold and 6,080,000 ounces silver, 98% in the measured and indicated category. The company reports zinc resources over 550,000,000 pounds with 85.3% extraction in preliminary leach tests. Phase Two metallurgy studies were begun in October 2009. An independent engineering firm is presently conducting a baseline environmental study and PEA. Cerro Prieto’s favourable logistics include available water, paved highway access, a national power grid within 10 kilometres, and a ready labour pool.
