Northern Gold reports Ontario Garrison Gold Project Resource Estimate

Northern Gold Mining Inc TSXV:NGM updated the resource estimate for its Ontario Garrison gold project, reporting 17.5 million tonnes grading 1.06 g/t gold for 604,000 ounces of measured resource. Indicated resources are 20.8 million tonnes grading 2 g/t for 668,000 ounces gold. Inferred resources are 15.7 million tonnes grading 0.72 g/t. All measurements were taken at a 0.3% cutoff. An additional 25,000 metres have been drilled since data cutoff.

President/CEO Martin Shefsky said, “Northern Gold continues to progress with its plans to develop a producing gold mine on its Garrison property. This latest NI 43-101 resource update on the Garrcon deposit provides our first measured resource. The total NI 43-101 mineral resources for the Garrison Gold Property including the Garrcon and Jonpol deposit are now 604,000 ounces of gold measured, 731,000 ounces of gold indicated, and 614,000 ounces of gold inferred. This illustrates the steady increase in size and quality in response to our ongoing drilling and justifies our continued faith in the project. Northern Gold will continue its exploration program, including both infilling and step-out drilling, as the deposit remains open to the north, east, west and at depth. In addition the company is focusing resources to prepare a feasibility report as its next step towards developing the property for production.”
