Gold Canyon reports Ontario Gold Assays as high as 0.76 g/t over 402m

Gold Canyon Resources Inc TSXV:GCU announced results from its Springpole Gold Project in Ontario. Assays include 1.5 g/t gold over 76 metres (including 11.56 g/t over 3 metres), 0.76 g/t over 402 metres (including 17.83 g/t over 1 metre), 2.03 g/t over 111 metres (including 92.57 g/t over 1.5 metres), 0.71 g/t over 219 metres (including 1.07 g/t over 81 metres), 2.15 g/t over 54 metres and 2.56 g/t over 150 metres (including 11.11 g/t over 10 metres).

Geologist Quinton Hennigh commented, “These six holes are infill, and they tell us a lot. First, we can now confidently say that mineralization starts at surface down the entire length of the Portage Zone. Second, we now see intervals of high-grade mineralization in drill holes along 300 metres strike along the mid-section of the Portage Zone. Third, we encountered the widest intercept yet across the Portage Zone, a true width of at least 280 metres in hole SP11-042 situated in the far southeast. Lastly, all six holes bottom in mineralization suggesting there is more going on at depth.”
