Corex reports Mexico Gold Assays up to 1.04 g/t over 161.5m

Corex Gold Corporation TSXV:CGE announced assay results from the Nicho Zone of its Santana Property in Sonora State, Mexico. Highlights include 1.04 g/t gold over 161.5 metres (including 3.38 g/t over 24.1 metres), 0.51 g/t over 170.8 metres (including 1.36 g/t over 9.7 metres), 1.46 g/t over 26.7 metres, 1.07 g/t over 14.4 metres and 0.84 g/t over 56.4 metres (including 2.39 g/t over 9.3 metres).

President/CEO Craig Schneider remarked, “We are very pleased with the initial results from our 2011 drill program. These are the best results the company has drilled to date on the Santana Property in both grade and thickness. The holes confirm a higher grade component to a very robust mineralized system. Holes S11-099D, S11-100 D, and S11-101 D, on section 101375 NW, are of particular importance as they have confirmed the occurrence of high grade shoots at the intersection of the northeast and northwest structures. It is important to note that the Nicho Zone is only one of numerous drill targets on the property that are open along strike and at depth.”
