Nortec reports Finland Gold Assays up to 1.03 g/t over 37.7m

Nortec Minerals Corp TSXV:NVT announced drill results from its Tammela Project in southern Finland. Highlights include 1.67 g/t gold over 7.1 metres, 1.03 g/t over 37.7 metres (including 3.37 g/t over 4.5 metres), 1.6 g/t over 5 metres, 2.47 g/t over 10 metres (including 7.37 g/t over 3 metres), 6.81 g/t over 2.5 metres, 35.5 g/t over 1 metre and 2 g/t over 5 metres.

President Ian Laurent said, “The company is excited to not only have a 100% interest in a project that contains an important strategic commodity like lithium, but that within that same project, only one kilometre to the north of the main lithium prospect, there is near-surface gold mineralization delineated and systematically studied by the GTK [i.e. Geological Survey of Finland]. Nortec confirmed the GTK results by re-sampling the archive drill holes. This really does create a new dynamic in how the company will conduct exploration in this multi-commodity district. We are looking forward to adding to this discovery with the aim of delineating potential gold resources along with lithium from the Tammela Project.”
