Volta reports Burkina Faso Gold Assays up to 1.64 g/t over 208m

Volta Resources Inc TSX:VTR announced results from the Central Area of its Kiaka Gold Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Assays include 1.24 g/t gold over 189 metres, 1.26 g/t over 216.4 metres, 1.18 g/t over 44.9 metres, 0.87 g/t over 139 metres, 1.63 g/t over 30.6 metres, 1.03 g/t over 47.7 metres, 0.87 g/t over 312.8 metres and 1.64 g/t over 208 metres.

CEO Kevin Bullock said, “In addition to the prodigious widths seen in these holes, they also demonstrate that Kiaka’s mineralization extends much deeper than our initial goal of 300 metres. Last year we established that Kiaka is on a path towards a development decision. This year we are establishing that the project is exceeding our expectations. Our next step is an updated resource estimate that we expect to be completed by the end of Q2 this year.”
