Quaterra, Blackberry report Mexico Silver Assays up to 290 g/t over 13.9m

Quaterra Resources Inc TSXV:QTA in joint venture with Blackberry Ventures 1, LLC, announced assay results from the Nieves Silver Property in Zacatecas, Mexico. Highlights include 40 g/t silver over 2.5 metres, 20 g/t over 36.7 metres (including 132 g/t over 3.7 metres), 19 g/t over 26.6 metres, 32 g/t over 21.7 metres, 23 g/t over 38.7 metres (including 120 g/t over 2.5 metres), 56 g/t over 8 metres, 1,175 g/t over 0.3 metres, 69 g/t over 78.1 metres (including 290 g/t over 13.9 metres), 79 g/t over 8 metres, 215 g/t over 2 metres and 235 g/t over 2 metres. Quaterra owns 50% of the Nieves Property.

Quaterra President/CEO Tom Patton stated, “The current phase of drilling has doubled the strike length of the North Gregorio vein, intersected stockwork style mineralization on the California vein and extended the higher grade La Quinta zone to the west. Mineralization remains open for expansion on both the east and west ends of the Concordia and North Gregorio veins and is open to the east on the California vein.”
