Richfield reports BC Gold Assays up to 1.23 g/t over 222m

Richfield Ventures Corp RVC:CA announced results from its Blackwater Gold Project in BC. Assays include 1.23 g/t gold over 222 metres (including 1.85 g/t over 119 metres), 2.52 g/t over 30 metres, 0.58 g/t over 143 metres (including 1.24 g/t over 37 metres), 0.31 g/t over 120 metres (including 1.26 g/t over 10 metres) and 0.59 g/t over 32 metres.

President/CEO Peter Bernier tells ResourceClips.com, “This may or may not shut off the southwest of the project. Three of the holes over there were lower grade—still in the system but lower grade. That one Hail Mary hole if you will—the one that is 1.5 kilometres to the south—we did that just to test an IP anomaly. But obviously it didn’t hit anything. The fourth hole had a significant hit, and that was more in the southeast part of the project. That’s where most of the rest of the holes are going to come from in the near future.

“We’re going to start drilling, likely on the north side of the project at the end of January. We’re going to pull in next week and get everything up and running again and build some drill paths and open up all the roads. And then we’ll start drilling near the end of the month. And we hope to put a resource for the south half out some time in February.”
