ATAC Resources Ltd ATC:CA announced drill results from the Tiger Zone of its Rau Gold Project in central Yukon. Assays include 5.57 g/t gold over 75.8 metres (including 13.88 g/t over 22.9 metres), 3.73 g/t over 47.3 metres (including 5.71 g/t over 29 metres), 3.98 g/t over 27.4 metres, 2.3 g/t over 68.1 metres, 3.7 g/t over 82.3 metres, 1.48 g/t over 80.8 metres, 3.49 g/t over 46.4 metres, 8.91 g/t over 32.6 metres (including 17.07 g/t over 16.8 metres).

CEO Graham Downs commented, “The Tiger Zone infill drilling is very encouraging as it confirms the high-grade gold mineralization and excellent continuity of the near-surface, blanket-like oxide portion of the deposit. Drill hole density from this season’s program will enable the Company to have an independent NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate on the Tiger Zone carried out. Completion of this estimate is anticipated in the third quarter of 2011.”
