Richfield reports BC Gold Assays as high as 0.84 g/t over 121m

Richfield Ventures Corp RVC:CA announced assay results from its Blackwater Gold Project in BC. Results include 0.61 g/t gold over 32 metres, 3.86 g/t over 18 metres (including 30.82 g/t over 2 metres), 2.27 g/t over 9 metres, 0.82 g/t over 34 metres, 0.94 g/t over 25 metres, 0.86 g/t over 50 metres, 0.84 g/t over 121 metres (including 2.19 g/t over 13 metres) and 1.18 g/t over 7 metres.

President/CEO Peter Bernier tells ResourceClips.com, “The recent assay results mean that we’re still open to the south. We may or may not have closed it off to the southwest; we’re not sure yet. It’s still wide open to the east. The northeast may have been closed off on the south side, but it’s still wide open on the north side on the Davidson Property, where we have a joint venture with Silver Quest Resources Ltd SQI:CA.

“We’ve been putting out such fantastic results that I think the market was anticipating more of the same, but 120 metres of 0.8 g/t is still mineable grades. We’re finding out a lot more about the Blackwater Project, and we have a lot more drilling to do—we’ve got two more years of drilling in the works.”
