Luna reports Brazil Gold Assays up to 3.2 g/t over 32m

Luna Gold Corp LGC:CA announced drill results from its Piaba Gold Deposit in Aurizona, Brazil. Assays include 2.66 g/t gold over 15 metres (including 7.49 g/t over 4 metres), 1.32 g/t over 30 metres (including 7.37 g/t over 1 metres), 3.2 g/t over 32 metres (including 60.6 g/t over 1 metre), 4.45 g/t over 5 metres and 2.01 g/t over 7 metres (including 9.74 g/t over 1 metre).

President/CEO John Blake said, “Our drill results continue to be very encouraging and fully support the confidence we have that the overall Aurizona gold resource has potential to grow significantly as we continue to drill the Piaba deposit. The structurally controlled mineralization in these latest drill holes confirms our deposit model which is consistent with other gold deposits in the Guiana Shield.”
