Rainy River reports Ontario Gold Assays up to 7.1 g/t over 22.5m

Rainy River Resources Ltd RR:CA announced drill results from its Rainy River Gold Project in northwestern Ontario. Assays include 5.15 g/t over 30 metres (including 80.36 g/t over 1.5 metres), 37.61 g/t over 3 metres (including 61.42 g/t over 1.5 metres), 2.02 g/t over 37.5 metres (including 16.71 over 1.8 metres), 1.13 g/t over 19.5 metres, 2.8 g/t over 24 metres, 6.37 g/t over 27 metres (including 82.75 g/t over 1.5 metres) and 7.1 g/t over 22.5 metres (including 159.29 g/t over 0.5 metres).

President/CEO Raymond Threlkeld commented, “The infill program has been very successful in demonstrating the operational flexibility that the Rainy River Gold Project will offer. We continue to see higher grade results from the potential open pit area and are encouraged to see new results from the Cap Zone, an area we believe could quickly add shallow ounces to the current resource base with further exploration.”
