Medusa reports Philippines Assays of 13.3 g/t Gold, 179.85 g/t Silver over 2.2m

Medusa Mining Limited MLL:CA announced assays from the First Hit Vein Prospect at its Saugon Project in the Philippines. Highlights include 13.3 g/t gold and 179.85 g/t silver over 2.2 metres, 9.63 g/t gold and 125.13 g/t silver over 3.9 metres, 11.71 g/t gold and 154.23 g/t silver over 3.4 metres, 15.81 g/t gold and 232.5 g/t silver over 1.5 metres, and 27.65 g/t gold and 398 g/t silver over 1.4 metres.

Managing Director Geoff Davis commented, “These new high-grade gold-silver drilling results, whilst confirming and extending significantly the 2004 results, have the hallmarks of a substantial mineralised structure. The deepest high grade intersection of 3.35 metres at 11.71 g/t gold and 154 g/t silver at approximately 180 metres vertically below outcrop and the robust new northern zone intersections indicate scope for substantial increases to this mineralisation. Work is ongoing to further evaluate its potential to develop as a new deposit.”
