Endeavour Silver Corp EDR:CA announced drill results from its Guanajuato Mines Project in Mexico. Assay highlights include 1.93 g/t gold and 218 g/t silver over 1.4 metres, 3.87 g/t gold and 177 g/t silver over 0.65 metres, 5.28 g/t gold and 133 g/t silver over 1.2 metres, 49.6 g/t gold and 349 g/t silver over 1 metre, 7.14 g/t gold and 179 g/t silver over 9.1 metres (including 19.53 g/t gold and 178 g/t silver over 2.4 metres), 12.13 g/t gold and 253 g/t silver over 1.7 metres and 5.05 g/t gold and 233 g/t silver over 0.8 metres.

VP Corporate Communications Hugh Clarke tells, “These are really strong assays. The silver values are really high, but what’s really eye-popping are those gold values. It took us a while, but our exploration team figured out the structural and regional geology in that particular area and have come up with one winner after another. It’s really quite remarkable.

“We’ve got three new discoveries now. We’ve got three drills on that particular area, drilling like mad. Prior to this announcement we were planning on expanding our plant capacity from 600 tons a day to 1,000 tons a day. We’re now considering advancing that to 1,500 tons a day. This is a very significant discovery for us, and we’re very excited.”
