Midland, Agnico-Eagle report Quebec Gold Assays up to 8.6 g/t over 5.5m

Midland Exploration Inc MD:CA in joint venture with Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited AEM:CA announced results from the Maritime-Cadillac Property in Quebec. Assays include 8.6 g/t gold over 5.5 metres (including 13.8 g/t over 3 metres), 1.7 g/t over 37.9 metres (including 4.8 g/t over 6 metres), 0.38 g/t over 37.7 metres (including 5 g/t over 1.6 metres), 1.2 g/t over 5.2 metres and 1.7 g/t over 2.7 metres. Midland and Agnico-Eagle each have a 50% interest in the property. Agnico-Eagle is the project operator.

The Maritime-Cadillac Property is located south of the Lapa Gold Mine along the Cadillac-Larder Lake Fault Zone, a regionally extensive structure that is spatially related to numerous gold prospects and past producers including the historic Lake Shore, Macassa and Kerr Addison gold mines in Kirkland Lake and Larder Lake, Ontario.
