Keegan reports Ghana Gold Assays including 1.2 g/t over 176.9m

Keegan Resources Inc KGN:CA announced drill results from its Esaase Project in southwest Ghana. Assays include 0.78 g/t gold over 31.3 metres, 1.49 g/t over 11.9 metres, 1.29 g/t over 27 metres (including 10.4 g/t over 1 metre), 1.42 g/t over 14 metres (including 10.35 g/t over 1 metre), 2.31 g/t over 33.2 metres (including 30 g/t over 1 metre) and 1.2 g/t over 176.9 metres (including 13.31 g/t over 6 metres).

President/CEO Maurice Tagami said, “These new drill results demonstrate that like in many world class gold districts, new zones are regularly being encountered and previously discovered zones are continuously being expanded. The potential exists that the Project will continue to yield positive exploration results even after we have developed Esaase into a producing gold mine. This is consistent with many of the operating mines in the area.”
