Lake Shore reports Ontario Gold Assays as high as 6.74 g/t over 17.9m

Lake Shore Gold Corp LSG:CA announced drill results from the Main Zone of its Timmins Mine. Assay highlights include 6.4 g/t gold over 14.4 metres (including 11.66 g/t over 4.1 metres), 4.41 g/t over 10.1 metres, 6.74 g/t over 17.9 metres, 11.84 g/t over 11.7 metres, 29.13 g/t over 7.5 metres, 14.58 g/t over 4.1 metres, 10.41 g/t over 3.7 metres, 4.58 g/t over 6.1 metres, 7.51 g/t over 16.1 metres, 17.5 g/t over 19.7 metres (including 129 g/t over 0.6 metres) and 15.84 g/t over 6 metres.

President/CEO Tony Makuch commented, “Today’s results are very exciting as they provide a very positive indication that the high grades within the first mining blocks are continuing upwards to the 525 Level and downwards from the 650 Level.
