African Gold reports Mali Gold Assays up to 1.04 g/t over 125m

African Gold Group, Inc AGG:CA announced results from its Zone 1 Gold Deposit at the Kobada Gold Project in Mali, West Africa. Assay highlights include 1.04 g/t gold over 125 metres, 1.29 g/t over 90 metres, 1.05 g/t over 74 metres, 1.23 g/t over 52 metres, 1.58 g/t over 34 metres and 1.35 g/t over 34 metres.

President/Director Mike Nikiforuk tells ResourceClips.com, “These are exceptional results. We are more than pleased with them. If you look at companies in our peer group that are trading at three and four times our market cap, our results give far stronger intercepts of gold mineralization—better grade over bigger intervals. This is beyond economic grade over mineable width. It is considerably in excess of that.

“We’ve got a lot of work done so far in 2010 and we believe that our potential within the oxidized profile of the first 100 vertical metres of the project is in the magnitude of three million ounces.”
