Kiska Metals reports Alaska Gold Assays up to 0.707 g/t over 252m

Kiska Metals Corporation KSK:CA announced assay results from the Whistler Deposit of its Whistler Project in Alaska. Highlights include 0.557 g/t over 362 metres (including 0.707 g/t over 252 metres), 1.251 g/t over 114.9 metres and 0.8 g/t over 9 metres.

President/CEO Jason Weber comments, “We are certainly in the early stages of our interpretation of Island Mountain, but hole 13 is the best hole drilled to date. The recognition of classic porphyry-style mineralization suggests that the breccia bodies and Lower Zone styles of mineralization could be peripheral to a larger porphyry system laterally and at depth. In addition, this hole demonstrates that the mineralizing system can produce broad zones of gold and copper mineralization as well as high grade.”
