Colossus reports Brazil Gold Assays as high as 53.13 g/t over 8.35m

Colossus Minerals Inc CSI:CA announced results from the Central Mineralized Zone of its Serra Pelada Gold-Platinum-Palladium Project in Para State, Brazil. Assay highlights include 53.13 g/t gold over 8.35 metres (including 207.2 g/t gold over 1.81 metres), 30.19 g/t gold and 3.53 g/t platinum and 4.25 g/t palladium over 25 metres, 82.39 g/t gold and 8.23 g/t platinum and 9.91 g/t palladium over 4.58 metres.

VP Investor Relations Ann Candelario told, “It’s a unique deposit. You don’t generally see gold and Platinum Group Metals together. The PGMs are, to put it mildly, a bonus.

“This release is really exciting because it’s something the market has been waiting for since we acquired the new ground; we started the project with a very small land package which has now grown to 875 hectares. The drilling of these three holes stepped-out from the Central Mineralized Zone, and the results confirm continuous mineralization. Which is very exciting, obviously. So we’re looking at very low-cost gold production as a consequence of the PGM concentrate that we’re going to be able to produce.”
