Alexandria reports Quebec Gold Assays as high as 19.33 g/t over 6.5m

Alexandria Minerals Corporation AZX:CA announced results from its Akasaba project in Val d’Or, Quebec. Assays include 1.52 g/t gold over 3.5 metres (including 5.16 g/t over 0.7 metres) and 19.33 g/t over 4.55 metres (including 121 g/t over 0.7 metres).

President/CEO Eric Owens commented, “We are excited to find the highest grade intercept ever at Akasaba, especially as it occurs between the historic mine area and the high grade zone, which suggests the potential for broader mineralization in between. In addition to awaiting further assays for this last campaign, we have completed one drill shift in October and are preparing for the next drill shift to begin in early November.”
