Marathon PGM Corporation MAR:CA announced results from its Leprechaun Gold Deposit in central Newfoundland. Assay highlights include 10.07 g/t gold over 1 metre, 7.45 g/t over 11 metres, 18.59 g/t over 1 metre, 4.32 g/t over 8 metres, 9.1 g/t over 2 metres, 6.53 g/t over 27 metres and 9.61 g/t over 10 metres.
Senior Geologist David Leng told ResourceClips.com, “We’ve been working on Leprechaun for ten months now, in joint venture with Mountain Lake Resources. The main importance behind today’s release is that it fills in a large gap that was left by inaccesibility due to drilling. Given that many of these intersections are near surface, these results will go a long way towards improving the open pit potential for the upcoming resource estimate.”
