Silver Standard’s Paul LaFontaine on assays including 5,480 g/t gold over 0.44 metres

“The Brucejack Project is located immediately south of our Snowfield Project and the two projects together have about 30 million ounces gold measured and indicated and 10 million ounces inferred. This most recent set of results is from a series of drill holes that we’ve completed on the Brucejack area, which is not as well defined from a drilling point of view as the Snowfield zone. What’s significant about the Brucejack area is that it has the potential for both open-pit as well as underground high-grade mining. You see the underground potential illustrated in hole SU-84, which has 5,480 g/t gold and 2,140 g/t silver over 0.44 metres.

“There are a number of holes in that vicinity that appear to tie together, and we’re in the process of developing continuity in that zone, seeing how large it is and what it can potentially do for us.”
