Anglo Swiss Resources Inc. ASW:CA announced results from its Kenville Property, BC. Assay highlights include 30.37 g/t gold over 1.34 metres, 54.37 g/t over 1.66 metres, 18.65 g/t over 2.69 and 17.29 g/t over 3.2 metres.
President/CEO Len Danard told ResourceClips.com, “This particular property is a historical gold mine and is one of the major producers in British Columbia, and we’re bringing it back. So we’ve rehabbed 257 level and done an NI 43-101 on the ore that’s left in that particular area, and it has a resource of 370,000 ounces.
“But the significance in what you’re seeing with these drill results released today is not only are we seeing results at the surface of the one hole, but we’ve got another hole showing 3.2 metres below anything that’s ever been drilled before. Then we’ve got extensions on those vein structures heading from the north end to the south. In the last year or so we’ve accumulated over 160 square kilometres to the south of this property, and that is hosting a number of other historical mines. We did extensive airborne geophysics over that area this year, and we’re seeing that trend heading off in the area of those existing mines as well as the Kenville gold mine.
“We’re excited about the press release,” Danard continued, “and while these were very good results, I think the thing that is really significant is the increase of the footprint of the historical Kenville gold mine. It’s showing us that there’s a whole new structure below us and above us.”
