Romarco reports South Carolina Gold Assays up to 46.5 g/t over 19.2m

R:CA announced partial assay results from drilling at the Haile Gold Mine, South Carolina. Highlights include 46.5 g/t gold over 19.2 metres (including 895.1 g/t over 0.6 metres), and 25.3 g/t over 16.8 metres (including 38.2 g/t over 6.7 metres).

President/CEO Diane Garrett told ResourceClips.com, “It was clearly an underground target until this came in: nearer to the surface, and with higher grades than we’ve seen on anything on the property. What this means to us is that it will not necessarily be an underground target, that we may be able to access it open pit—and if we can do that, then we can move it up into the mine plant quicker. Which will add more to the economics and the production profile. It also confirms what we’ve always said: that we’re in a very high grade district. It’s an area that’s really been under explored for the last two decades.”
